Archer West Gallery First Fridays

It may not be news to many of you that I've already talked to, but I'm a proud new member of Archer West Gallery in Quincy.  They approached me over a week ago interested in my photography and after meeting with them I fell in love with both the gallery and their mission.  They are pushing to endorse young new talent from the Boston/ New England area and investing in our future by offering free or low cost classes and events.

I know it's last minute, but their initial opening is an open house this friday from 6-9pm. If you're not doing anything, stop by and see some awesome art, meet some great people and maybe even take a piece home with you (even better if it's one of mine ;).  Only a few small prints of mine will be shown due to time constraints, but I would love to have a good representation of friends and family to show up.  If you can't attend don't worry, they will be having a "First Friday" open studio every month on, dat ta da da, the first friday and I should have some large Gallery Wraps up by October's First Friday on Oct 1st.  Their location is 57 Liberty St. Quincy, MA 02169.  Parking is in a small lot just out back with the entrance just to the right of the gallery. If you'd like to check out their website visit ArcherWestDesigns.com

Thanks, hope to see some of you guys there, and be sure to check out my online store at etsy.com/shop/jimmynotjim

  2. Sorry I didn't notice your comments Chris, I messed up the notification system. Thanks for your kind words, I don't feel like I'm ready or deserve it. I do hope it brings more attention to my work and in the end makes me a stronger artist by putting myself out there (for both praise and critique).
